Resumen El papel de los Dermestidae (como de todos los Coleoptera florícolas, salvo los Cerambycidae y Scarabaeidae florícolas) como polinizadores potenciales generalistas está infravalorado. En este artículo (el primero de una serie que abarcará a todos los grupos de polinizadores) se aportan los primeros datos sobre las fuentes poliníferas y nectaríferas de Orphilus beali Zanthiev, 2001 y O. niger (Rossi, 1790) en la península Ibérica.
