The DC House Project: Promoting the use of renewable energy for rural electrification

Abstract

This paper presents the DC House Project to help boost the use of renewable energy sources for rural electrification. Different phases and projects involved in the DC House development will be described. Recent status, challenges encountered, short and long term outlook of the project will also be presented.
