Investment in innovation in the context of the formation of a knowledge-based economy in the regions of the North-Western Federal District

Abstract

The dynamics of the ratio of the costs of technological innovations to the gross regional product is presented. It indicates a low level of knowledge-intensive economy of the regions of the North-West of Russia. Some directions of its improvement are given.
