Abstract
Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) is recommended by Third generation partnership project-long term evolution (3GPP-LTE) for uplink transmission in future generation wireless communication systems. As a result of the peak-to average power ratio (PAPR) is one of the major issues for any kind of uplink transmission, Blind selective mapping technique is proposed in this paper as a PAPR reduction schemes. Simulation results show that the PAPR performance for the proposed B-SLM technique is approximately the same as the PAPR performance of the Convectional Selective Mapping C-SLM but, B-SLM technique provides a reduction in bandwidth without a significant degradation in Bit-Error Rate (BER) performance. Also the effect of solid state power amplifier (SSPA) on the performance of SC-FDMA system is investigate.
