Field observations

Abstract

During our field observation on the 17 th of November we drove with Gerbert Rieks of FT Kilimanjaro. During this trip we tried to visit some important points in the project area. One of these points was the bifurcation of the Kikuletwa in the Kikuletwa and the Ronga river. We tried to reach this point via the area of Chem Chem. We also visited the end of a dike which was built some years ago by the local government. At last we drove to Mikocheni Ndogo and around the forest of TPC. In Figure 1 the route we drove is shown. In Figure 2 we show all the waypoints we gathered. A zoom around the bifurcation is shown in Figure 3. This isdone because many waypoints where made here. Important information per waypoint is described below.
