Abstract
Two-dimensional soil layers profile inversion is usually based on the in-situ test and borehole information, such as the cone penetration test, standard penetration test, borehole data, which can provide one dimensional data along the depth direction. There are some methods proposed to predict the horizontal soil layers profile, such as Kriging interpolation method, sequential indicator simulation method and Markov chain simulation. However, there may be unknown soil types between adjacent boreholes, so it is impossible to accurately predict two-dimensional soil profile based on interpolation method. This paper proposed a two-dimensional soil layer profile inversion method based on surface wave exploration.
