Advanced solution for delivering educational multimedia content based on content management system

Abstract

The paper deals with the design and implementation of solution for delivering multimedia content in form of educational videos, presentations, spreadsheets or other documents. Based on analysis of the state of art streaming technologies it was created the concept of multimedia web portal based on content management system. The overall solution was implemented together with creating custom components, which are interconnecting the abilities of streaming technologies with web interface. In the near future the resulting web portal is going to provide the service of delivery educational content produced by people related to local university.
