Abstract

A rectangular microstrip patch antenna (MPA) is constructed by using Double slotted ground plane in comparison with un-slotted ground plane for gain enhancement. The microstrip patch antenna using double slotted ground plane uses a total of 40 samples in comparison with un-slotted ground plane with 2mm substrate thickness.. The enhanced gain is by 1.99 dB. Attained significance accuracy ratio (p<0.05). Microstrip patch antenna with double slotted ground plane performs appears to be better in terms of Gain.
