Getting the attention of senior management for human factors issues: a personal experience

Abstract

A series of circumstances that caused management to become concerned enough to begin to look at human factors issues that could affect nuclear power plant safety and reliability are described. Three major circumstances that caught the attention of management are reported. Initiatives taken and resultant outcomes are also discussed.<>
