This paper performs a comprehensive study of how Artificial Intelligence and its allied sub domains play a pivotal role in AV operations. The study discusses in detail about the various complex operations in AV for which AI is used to provide solutions. Also, a clear mapping of various sub domains of AI to AV problems is performed.
