Towards an implementation of Information Technologies Governance

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the role played by the use of information technologies in companies. This work is intended to show the concepts of IT governance, its elements, the risks that exist by not taking the necessary precautions in day-today operations. It also shows an overview of the most common and most recognized norms, standards, methodologies and good practices worldwide that allow obtaining results aligned with the organization's strategy.
