Application of Operational Research in Campus Construction Taking the Construction of the New Campus in a University as an Example

Abstract

Since its inception, operations research has been rapidly developed andwidely used. On the basis of introducing the production, development, application and application characteristics and steps of operational research, this paper combines the successful construction of a new campus with the use of operations research to solve flood control problems, examples of power distribution standards, and proposes many problems in campus construction. Learning is effectively solved. For example, the functional layout of the campus; power supply, water supply, supply of steam lines; television, telephone, computer network laying; floor, building height determination;human resources arrangements; construction fund allocation; tree flowers and plants selection, layout.
