Abstract

The article studies the purely viscous stationary flow of quasi-Newtonian fluids which share dependent viscosity, obeying the power law and Carreau's law. We prove the existence of the solution using the method of monotonicity. Finally, we study numerical algorithms which are useful for the practical solution of the discretized equation.
