Abstract
Dual contact coupled cavity DFB-LD is proposed and optimized for 56-Gbaud PAM-4 signals. 3-dB bandwidth of 53.6-GHz are demonstrated by 100-μm long region 1 and 140-μm long region 2, obtained clear eye openings with ER>8-dB.
