More than half the world now uses smartphones. The smartphone has become the primary need and has become one of the global phenomenon. It can be seen from the large number of people's habit in the purchase of smartphone, and even there is survey report says that in some countries the number of smartphone subscribers had exceeds its population. The improvement of software and hardware of smartphones is growing rapidly to meet the needs and demand of the market. The increasing number of products as well as the amount of information carried by each brand can overload and confuse consumers, can result in stress and frustration so it will lead to sub-optimal decisions. Based on that, it is necessary to develop a decision support system that helps to reduce consumer confusion problem in choosing a smartphone. Decision Support System to Decide on the Latest Smartphone Using Analytical Hierarchy Process is a web-based system which was developed to assist the consumer in selecting a smartphone systematically. Analytical Hierarchy Process is one of multi-criteria decision-making method and it was chosen because it has been widely used and widely accepted in various organizations, companies and countries around the world. Results of Analytical Hierarchy Process are more consistent than others. It is also easily understood and easy-to-implement. Over the ages, technology has grown intensively. Technology and its increasing prevalence have impacted human life and encourages each individual to keep abreast of these developments especially in the technology and communications sectors.
