In this paper we propose to study and optimize the intra coding process implementation TMS320DM642 digital signal processor. Abstract

The H.264 standard was previously designed to allow the development of an encoder that significantly improves compression rates compared to previous standards while ensuring similar visual quality. The H.264 standard has incorporated advanced techniques which fully exploit the redundancies present in video sequences to the great benefit of compression.
