Mach-Zehnder fiber interferometers based on liquid-filled photonic crystal fibers

Abstract

Mach-Zehnder fiber interferometers based on the liquid-filled photonic crystal fibers are demonstrated and applied in the sensing applications of surrounding refractive index and bending. The sensing sensitivities of the fabricated interferometers are measured and discussed.
