The purpose of the analysis is to define a systematic process by which the various constraints of crew deconditioning, crew training, and operational environment could be balanced in designing the crew's response to automation failures. Abstract
An analysis of potential crew involvement in a highly automated vehicle for returning crew members from an orbiting Space Station is presented.
