Design And Installation Of Wired Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)

Abstract

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems assist in the monitoring and tracking actions of security personnel as the number of CCTV footage increases. Target detection, tracking, and classification are the primary goals of surveillance programs. CCTV video surveillance is beneficial in reducing and preventing crime and assisting in the conviction of criminals. The pros, limitations, and applications of wired CCTV were discussed in this report. This project can be carried out using one of two methods: wired or wireless. However, only the wired (cable) approach was employed. This report presented the installation of wired CCTV and the advantages, disadvantages, and application of existing CCTVs. The result shows that wired CCTV is more suitable when considering longer distances.
