Abstract
The general methods used for the rational value of required transmission capacity calculations in cut sets between two integrated power systems (IPS) are described in the paper by the example of the cut set between the North-West and Centre IPSs. Real data of power flow measurements in the considered cut sets are also presented here. Different methods for calculating the required value are compared.
