Report on European COST action P8: materials and systems for optical data storage and processing

Abstract

The COST action P8 has been initiated by a group of European Scientist and receives funding by the European Science Foundation ESF starting in March 2002 for four years. The action promotes cooperation between researchers from many European countries by organizing worhshops, conferences and short term scientific missions.
