Abstract

The article describes the characteristics of the brewing industry as well as a dissertation on its strategic elements in the form of the SWOT analysis for the period after Poland join the European Union. Unanimously, it can be concluded that the accession changed the face of this branch of the economy, which is especially noticeable in the analysis of changes in foreign trade. The potential competitors in the EU market are a possible risk so it is important to build up export expansion in non-EU markets.
