Abstract

This paper presents a dual-mode power control strategy for a dual power flow (DPF) wind power generation system (WPGS). When the wind power is below the rated value, two maximum power point tracking (MPPT) methods, namely speed feedback control and torque feedback control, are adopted and compared. On the other hand, when the wind power is above the rated value, the power control would be taken and then the rotating speed of outer rotor remain constant. Besides, the smooth switching method of the two modes is given. The simulation model of DPF-WPGS is built based on Matlab/Simulink and the effectiveness of the dual-mode strategy is verified by the simulation results.
新型双潮流风力发电系统的双模功率控制策略
