Abstract
The increase in various types of power system harmonics has led to the establishment of harmonic suppression guidelines. In response, the active filter has been developed. This paper proposes a dispersion type active filter, which reduces harmonics in the input voltage that appear in the load voltage. The load voltage can be independent from input voltage by using two active filters in series. The authors also report the experimental results obtained for this dispersion type active filter.
