More than 90% of people with this condition are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Diabetes is now the leading cause of blindness, end-stage renal failure, non-traumatic limb amputations, heart disease, and stroke. Due to the high prevalence of type 2 diabetes in recent years, the prognosis and early diagnosis of the disease have gained much importance.
