Abstract

The H∞ filtering problem for a class of networked control systems (N CSs) subject to variable quantization density is studied in this paper. The quantization density may alter among finite options, and the variation is subject to persistent dwell-time switching signals. Therefore it is possible to model the NCSs as switched systems. A quantization-density-dependent Lyapunov function is adopted. Stability criterion and l2 gain analysis result are demonstrated, and a set of H∞ filters is designed. The effectiveness and advantage of the developed results is illustrated through a numerical example.
