Abstract

In this paper, we present a novel autonomous microwave chaotic generator based on chaotic Colpitts oscillator with a smooth distribution of spectral power density in the range of 0.5-15 GHz. The chaotic generator is based on the BFP620 transistor as nonlinear component. Simulation results using ADS (Advanced Design Systems) software tool are presented. The obtained results justify the possibility of generation White Gaussian Noise (WGN) signal from the proposed circuit with a uniform spectrum around -40dBm.
