Abstract
Lubricant behavior within head-disk clearance was simulated using a particle method based on continuum dynamics. The lubricant behavior was simulated on various sets of surface tension and viscous stress. The results from the simulation show that viscous stress was dominant in comparison with surface tension on the viscosity of bulk condition.
