Significance of Big Data Analytics in Higher Education Institutions of Saudi Arabia

Abstract

Research is an observatory study addressing the importance of big data analytics in higher education institutions of Saudi Arabia. Quantitative data collection method was deployed to collect data from King Abdulaziz University and then it was analyzed by using PLS-SEM. The study has proven that there is a high requirement of applying big data analytics on the university networks to separate the useable data from the unusable data. This will improve network performance and make the network more stable. The study has contributed to the knowledge base theory significantly.
