Abstract
While Device-to-Device communication enables high-speed local services in the traditional cellular networks, it also brings potential mutual interference additionally. Previous works neither make decisions cooperatively nor take involute situations resulted from the incoming technical instruments in IMT-Advanced network into account. In this paper, based on the learning from a single cell of the hybrid D2D and IMT-Advanced network, a cooperative mode selection mechanism with both power allocation and resource sharing optimization is proposed, aiming at selecting the optimal mode with the overall system capacity maximized and QoS of cellular user satisfied. The analysis of its performance is present particularly and the outcomes of the simulation exhibit our cooperative mechanism operates remarkably better than the non-cooperative one and D2D communication certainly enhances the pure cellular network.
