Copyright and Related Rights in the Digital World 2020

Abstract

The paper examines the new DIRECTIVE (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the digital single market and its forthcoming adaptation and technological non-alignment of the legal norms with the set goals. Risk assessment and sufficient number of conclusions is made - what positive and negative impacts can be expected from its implementation. A conclusion is drawn that in the near or distant future, the path of copyright goes to limit them only to non-property rights - copyright, right of disclosure, and inviolability of the work.
