Abstract

This paper presents characteristics of eigenmodes, and a selective excitation method of a dominant and higher modes using Characteristic Mode Analysis (CMA). The results of CMA of the platform shows that lower order modes have radiation patterns like dipole antenna. Four inverted-F antennas are placed at the edge on platform surface. These four inverted-F antennas excite dominant and higher modes of the platform by selecting appropriate feed position.
