Finally, the gestures with high frequency were selected. Findings show the distance between user and the display has an impact on the elicited gestures for specific tasks. The consensus on users’ gesture proposals is also discussed. Abstract

Interaction with graphical visualization is an important part of visual analytics. The purpose of this study is to explore how analysts will understand the using of gestures for interacting with data displayed on large screen.
