SOCIAL CAPITAL AND SUSTAINABILITY OF MSMEs

Abstract

The objective of this article is to describe the development and the role of MSMEs in Indonesia and review the results of research on the role of social capital for the sustainability of MSMEs. An explanation of the role of social capital for the sustainability of MSMEs starts with the existence of MSMEs in Indonesia, the definition of social capital, the dimensions of social capital and the role of social capital for the lives of farmers, fishermen and MSMEs.
