In order to solve these downsides, a new retractable theater auditorium is designed according to the environment of the theater and the theater audience’s need. The retractable theater auditorium has a newly designed main frame module and a newly designed drive and transmission module. SolidWorks is used to conduct three-dimensional modeling and finite element analysis of these new designs. According to the results of finite element analysis, the stability of the design is tested. Abstract
Current retractable auditoriums, which are mostly used in stadiums and conference rooms, have insufficient mechanical stability and are unsuitable for long time use in the theater.
