Abstract
In recent years, there are many accidents caused by roadway cave–ins where the roads were constructed in the past. So the GPR is used as a way to detect the underground cavities for preventing accidents in the future. In the past, when the pulse GPR was used, it was difficult to detect underground cavities because of low power. However, nowadays the GPR system of chirp signal is used in order to detect underground cavities because of high power. This paper is about the examination of a new multi–pass GPR system using chirp signal.
