Abstract
Objective: From the advantages of acupuncture analgesia, to explore the effect of different acupuncture moxibustion therapies on sciatica in modern clinical research and visual analysis of point selection through the method of data mining technology, to select the optimal therapy and point selection for clinical service. Methods: Based on data mining technology, statistical analysis was carried out on the clinical efficacy and acupoints of different acupuncture and moxibustion treatments for sciatica in Chinese and English literatures in recent 10 years. Finally, according to the results of statistical analysis, the best moxibustion therapy and acupoints for the treatment of sciatica were selected. Conclusion: In all the included literatures, the average total effective rate of special acupuncture treatment is the highest among the seven treatment methods, followed by acupuncture + traditional Chinese medicine and warm acupuncture. In all the included literatures, the top ten acupoints used were GB30, BL40, GB34, BL57, BL60, BL54, BL25, EX-B2, BL23, GB39 and BL37. In the co-occurrence network diagram, there is a strong correlation between GB30, GB34, BL40, BL54, BL57, BL60 and other acupoints, which can be selected preferentially for treatment.
