Abstract

The paper presents the design of a MOU for the coaxial ITER gyrotron. Corrugated waveguides are used to transmit the high power mm-waves generated by gyrotrons to the plasma for Electron Cyclotron Resonance Heating (ECRH) and Current Drive (CD).
