In the proposed work we have designed an E-field probe for SAR evaluation associated with 5.8 GHz (Wi-Fi for 5G). Scattering parameters for the probe are reported in this work. A detailed description of SAR evaluation system has been given along with different scans setups for SAR evaluation. An automatic routine for SAR evaluation has been under development for enabling autonomous SAR evaluation using the designed probe. Abstract
With the advent of artificial intelligence and its association with multiple wireless devices has created a complex radio frequency (RF) environment. Due to this, RF exposure evaluation in the near field domain has become more critical. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is the parameter required to be evaluated to measure the near field RF exposure.
