Abstract

In the present paper a novel technique is applied to ground plane of patch antenna to reduce the size of the radiating patch and simultaneously increase the gain of the antenna. A rectangular microstrip antenna is designed for Wi-Fi application at 2.45 GHz. Fractal structures are self symmetry structures which can be used for size miniaturization.
