A rectangular microstrip antenna is designed for Wi-Fi application at 2.45 GHz. Fractal structures are self symmetry structures which can be used for size miniaturization. Sierpinski carpet fractal slots are applied to the ground plane of the rectangular patch antenna working at 2.4 GHz frequency. The results are simulated for first iteration and second iterations of fractal DGS antenna. There is size reduction of the radiating patch is 30.78%, 32.9% for 1st and 2nd iterations fractal slots respectively. Abstract
