As a kind of networked HPC application environment, meteorological computational Grid makes an integration of diverse computing resources using the Grid technology, providing computing resources and sharing services to the public. Grid resource management (GRM) is the core component of Grid system and plays an important role in the performance of Grid system. The survey of GRM technologies and the introduction of virtual management technologies are first presented in this paper. Then a new Grid resource management model for meteorological computational Grid is described based on virtual resource management technologies, it has strong adaptability and scalability for its full consideration of geographic distribution characteristics of meteorological HPC resources as well as the application requirements.","PeriodicalId":360193,"journal":{"name":"J. Abstract
