Distributed virtual infrastructure using dynamic optical path networks

Abstract

Many of today's IT services use virtual infrastructure. In this paper, role and model of high speed stable optical path network which will support highly efficient and low energy consuming virtual IT infrastructures by connecting distributed hardware resources are discussed.
