Original profile using MPEG-7/MDS for the large scale video archive

Abstract

This paper describes how we produced our original retrieval profile. In producing the profile, we studied retrieval keywords described in MPEG-7/MDS description schema in order to realize the archive retrieval system in the light of content distribution era. Further, this paper shows the verification of advantage of implementing MPEG-7 description system primarily, the introduction of "cid" advocated by content ID Forum and content management system that combined the both above.
