Quantity Optimization of Airport Trash Bins based on Set Coverage Location Problem: An example of Tianjin Binhai International Airport

Abstract

∗The President of PR of China Xi Jinping has pointed out that in the future to build a “Safe, green, intelligent, humane” as the core of the “four-type airport”, improving the energy efficiency of airport facilities is an essential part of the construction of the “four-type airport” a green terminal. As an infrastructure, the layout of Trash bins in airport terminal will have a huge impact on passenger utility. It is an essential part of reducing carbon emissions and building a green airport. This article will take Tianjin Binhai International Airport as an example to investigate and analyze the rationality of the layout and quantity of Trash bins in the terminal building, put forward the number of Trash bins optimization plan in Tianjin Binhai International Airport.
