Abstract

62 Number of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) is approximately estimated as 18.2 million cases worldwide (total population 6.3%) and 800 000 new patients are encountered each year.1 Microvascular and macrovascular complications are important cause of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
