The proposed antenna, fed by a 50Ω microstrip transmission line, can excite resonances at 2.46 and 5.30 GHz with a wide band from 2.30–2.68 GHz and from 5.13–6.04 GHz with an impedance bandwidth of 15.3% and 16.3% respectively. Also a good radiation pattern is achieved for the WLAN band (2.400–2.484 GHz 5.150–5.350 GHz and 5.725–5.825 GHz) range. The designed antenna has an overall size of 34×30×1.6mm3. Abstract
