Abstract

As the world now is evolving with a variety of high-quality sensors and high efficiency software, we could see vehicles coming out with features that can solve tasks autonomously. However, hardware or software issues can still occur, or the vehicle may not be able to handle a specific scenario. In such scenario it might be possible, that there can be no suitable driver, who can be a fallback solution, is inside the car and a different solution must be applied. In such situations, Teleoperated Driving can help us. Also, tele-operated driving can also be implemented in situations where manual or autonomous driving may be difficult or even impossible. Teleoperated Driving means to control a vehicle from remote location. This paper proposes a system for tele-operated control of vehicles along with the methodology for the development of a Python based Desktop Application.
