Cost-effective hybrid Ginga-NCL interactive set-top box

Abstract

This work presents an interactive low cost set-top box solution for IPTV and free-to-air DTV. A Ginga-NCL middleware was developed and ported to a Raspberry-Pi platform. Some limitations were identified in this platform and countermeasures were proposed.
