Research Guides in a Public Policy Environment

Abstract

This paper describes how the Congressional Research Service modified the pathfinder form for use in a congressional public policy environment. The development and evolution of the CRS Research Guide format is discussed as are format and topic selection considerations. Future developments, which include on-line guides that will have direct links to the Library of Congress SCORPIO system, are outlined.
