The present study started with (1) sampling and sample preparation, (2) proximate analysis of seluang (water, ash, protein, mineral and fat contents), (3) fat extraction from seluang, (4) fatty acid content analysis using GCMS and (5) amino acid type analysis using HPLC. Seluang (Rasbora Sp) is caught from Barito River, Banjar Regency. Every 100 g of Seluang contained ±55.89 percent of water content, ±11.45 percent of ash content, ±47.54 percent of total protein, ±12.36 percent of total fat, ±2.9 percent of Fe, ±0.38 percent of Cu, ±3.64 percent of Zn and 100 gram of seluang contained 21.53 kilocalorie. Seluang contained 36,43 percent of oleic fatty acid (omega 9), 27.43 percent of palmitate, 11.97 percent of stearate, 3.75 percent of palmitoleate, 3.17 percent of laurate, 3.11 percent of myristate, and 2.98 percent of eicosapentanoic acid EPA (Omega 3).
